Hey folks, did anyone else notice how weird it is that three of Roland's fuel drums ended up 25 miles SW of Ugashik Bay? It's almost like they got there all on their own. How do you think they drifted that far from his last known location? Could the current have carried them, or do you think someone else might have moved them? It seems odd that they ended up that far away from where he was heading. Would love to hear thoughts on this!

Hey everyone, I recently stumbled upon an intriguing aspect of Roland's case that hasn't been discussed much here. It's really got me thinking: those fuel drums they found—25 miles southwest of Ugashik Bay—how did they get there? Seems odd, right? If Roland's intention was to head towards Ugashik, why would his fuel drums end up in the opposite direction? I'm speculating here, but could there have been strong currents or wind that shifted them off-course? Or, was there another factor at play that led them there? I know the search didn't turn up anything, but maybe these drums are a clue to understanding what happened. Would love to hear your thoughts or theories on this! Thanks!

Has anyone looked into the weather conditions around the time Roland went missing? I know Alaskan waters can be unpredictable. Maybe there was a sudden storm or some rough seas that could have affected his route. Mariners in the area could provide insights, especially if they experienced anything unusual that day. Just wondering if Mother Nature might have played a role. Thoughts?
