Has anyone looked into potential witnesses who might have seen something on the day Alfred Raymond Montes was tragically shot? I've been following the case, and it's haunting to think that this happened in broad daylight. North Avenue 52 is a busy area, right? You'd think someone must have seen or heard something around 5:10 p.m.
From what I've read, Montes was really trying to turn his life around and was a rock for his family. It must be incredibly hard for them to live without answers. If anyone has any ideas for how to get more information out there or ways to help the family, please share. They deserve to find out what happened to him and why.
Has anyone looked into the 300 block of North Avenue 52 where Alfred Raymond Montes was shot? I keep thinking about how public some crime scenes are, and yet there can still be so little evidence or witnesses. It just boggles my mind. It seems like Highland Park is a busy area, especially in the early evening when people are coming home from work. Were there security cameras around there? Any chance that random passersby or residents might have seen something, even if it seemed insignificant at the time? Sometimes, the smallest detail can crack a case wide open. My heart goes out to Alfred’s family. It's got to be incredibly frustrating for them to wait so long with no answers. If anyone has any insights or theories, I’d love to hear them. These discussions can sometimes unravel new leads or angles that investigators might not have considered.
