I recently came across Penny Sue Warfel's case, and something seems really off. Can anyone shed more light on why her husband, Lawrence, hasn't been named a suspect in her disappearance, given he continued to withdraw her Social Security benefits after she went missing? It feels like a huge red flag, especially since there's no evidence Penny even made it out of Missouri, despite his claims. I'm no expert, but could this financial exploitation angle possibly hint at something bigger? I'm curious if anyone knows if they've investigated his story about her leaving for Florida with a friend. Keeping this case in my thoughts and hoping it finds resolution soon.

Has anyone else looked into Lawrence Warfel's background? I was just wondering if there might be any history or previous issues that could raise red flags about his character. The fact that he kept withdrawing Penny's Social Security benefits seems really suspicious to me, especially since he wasn’t charged until a year later. I know financial motives can sometimes play a role in these cases, but it seems odd that they haven’t officially named him a suspect in Penny's disappearance despite him being involved in the financial exploitation charges. Could these benefit withdrawals be a reason for her disappearance, or is it just coincidental? Has anyone found more info about Lawrence's past or anything that could shed light on whether he might be capable of more than just financial exploitation?

I’ve been following Penny Sue Warfel’s case for a while now, and something keeps bugging me. I can't get over the fact that there's zero evidence she ever made it out of Missouri. Lawrence Warfel’s story about Penny leaving for Florida with a male friend seems suspicious, to say the least. If she truly went off to start fresh or whatever, wouldn't there be some paper trail or sightings? No bus tickets, flights, nothing. With her husband still withdrawing her Social Security benefits until nine months later, I’m having a hard time believing his version of events. It's as if she vanished into thin air. What are everyone's thoughts on why there’s no trace of her leaving? Anyone else find this aspect particularly odd?
