I keep thinking about how difficult it must be for Alexis Carbajal's wife, who was right there with him when the shooting happened. I can't even imagine the trauma she's experiencing after witnessing such a horrific event. Losing a loved one in that way is unimaginable, and being in the car at the same time must add layers to her grief that most of us can't comprehend. It's situations like these that remind me of how important it is to hold those we love close and not take moments for granted. I hope the support she's receiving from friends, family, and the community can at least provide some comfort. It's heartening to see initiatives like the GoFundMe, showing how people are coming together to support the Carbajal family during such a difficult period. No one should ever have to go through something like this, and my thoughts are with her and everyone else affected by this tragedy. How resilient people can be in the face of such overwhelming adversity never ceases to amaze me.
