Has anyone heard about the lack of streetlights around the area where Erika and Kodi were found? I read somewhere that it might have been pretty dark near that intersection at night. It's so sad to think that poor lighting could have contributed to such a senseless act going unnoticed. I can't even begin to imagine how Erika’s family must be feeling, knowing that something as simple as better lighting might have deterred this or even helped catch whoever did this sooner. If you're in that area, please stay safe and keep an eye out. I really hope someone saw or knows something and comes forward soon. Sending love and strength to Erika's family and all others affected by this tragedy.
