Has anyone else been following the case of Mario Gomez Sanchez? I just read about how he was collecting bottles for recycling when he was caught in the crossfire. It’s devastating to think that he was just going about his daily routine, trying to make ends meet. I can’t help but feel for his family who must be going through unimaginable pain. I hope the charges against the suspects bring some measure of justice. It’s a stark reminder of how quickly violence can snatch someone away from their loved ones. Please, if anyone has any more updates or information on community support efforts for his family, share them here. We need to come together as a community in times like this.
