I just can’t wrap my head around the sheer tragedy of what happened at Delta View Farms. I’ve been thinking a lot about the community’s response and the toll this must be taking on Pedro Fernandez’s family and friends. Especially in a place like Armona, where I imagine everyone knows each other pretty well, this kind of loss must be devastating. I read that the investigators are still looking for more insights into why Alfredo Preira could have done such a horrible thing. It's scary how someone can just snap without clear warning. I wonder if there might have been signs that were missed or if he kept his intentions hidden. The fact that the shooting happened in the middle of the day while people were working makes it all the more unsettling. Those who witnessed it will probably carry that trauma for a long time, and my heart goes out to them too. I hope the community can rally around all those affected and offer support in whatever way they need right now. If anyone has any new details, it might help to share so we can piece together some understanding of this tragedy. Let’s keep Pedro’s family and loved ones in our thoughts, they’re going through unimaginable grief.
