I'm really struck by the profound impact that Alex's senseless death has had on his younger brother. I can't even begin to imagine the trauma he's going through after witnessing such a horrific event and losing his big brother. It's important we remember that even though he survived physically, the emotional and psychological scars could last a lifetime. I hope the community comes together to provide him with the support and counseling he needs to process this tragedy. Children shouldn't have to grow up in fear of violence while walking to their grandmother's house. My thoughts are with Alex's family, and especially his young brother as he navigates through this traumatic experience. It's comforting to know the community is rallying for justice and hopefully advocating for a safer environment for all.
