Hey everyone, I've been following Michael Cavanaugh’s case, and it's just awful what happened to him. One aspect that I find particularly interesting is the role of witnesses—or rather, the lack thereof. It's troubling how there were no solid eyewitness accounts despite the crime occurring inside a business. Were there really that few people around, or were they just too scared to come forward? I guess it's a testament to how tense the atmosphere must have been in New Orleans at that time. It makes you wonder how many more unsolved cases are out there because witnesses were hesitant to speak up. I hope the authorities can find a way to encourage people to come forward. Michael's family deserves answers, and someone out there must know something. For the sake of all those affected, let's hope more light is shed on this tragedy.
