I've been thinking a lot about the impact that this whole tragedy must have had on the apartment building where Jimmy lived. Can you imagine how terrifying it must have been for the residents? One moment, you're living your life, and the next, a fatal shooting takes place right down the hall. It really makes you reconsider how vulnerable we all are to unexpected chaos. The fear and unease they must have experienced are something that I'm sure lingered long after the crime scene tape came down. It’s just devastating knowing that shortly before, these neighbors were probable strangers to such violence. I hope that since then, the apartment management and law enforcement have stepped up to ensure everyone's safety. The brave residents who came forward with information during the investigation deserve so much credit for helping to bring some form of justice to Jimmy’s family.
