I can't stop thinking about the ripple effects this tragedy has had on the community that Timothy Conkling was a part of. It's hard to comprehend how one senseless act can cause so much pain and disruption. I've read that the local community really came together to support the Conkling family—it's uplifting to see how people can unite in tough times, even though it's under such terrible circumstances. What stands out to me is how Timothy's colleagues have also been affected by this. I've read accounts from people who worked with him, and they mention how his cheerful demeanor would always lift everyone's spirits, especially on long hauls. He seemed like one of those genuinely good people the world needs more of. It's heartening to see that his legacy continues through those he worked with, who still speak so highly of him and reach out to his family. It just makes me reflect on how valuable community support can be when trying to cope with such an unimaginable loss. Anyone else have thoughts on or firsthand experiences with community healing after such senseless acts of violence? Interested to hear how others perceive this part of the healing process.
