I’ve been following this case since the beginning, and I’ve been thinking a lot about Kristine’s friends and family. It must have been so difficult for them to live with the doubt and suspicion surrounding her death for so long. I can't even imagine how overwhelming it must have been for investigators to comb through every detail necessary to reveal the truth. It makes you realize how complex and demanding the legal process can be when there's so much at stake. While Michael Darling’s plea deal doesn’t bring Kristine back, I hope it offers her loved ones some sense of peace. It’s a reminder of the incredibly tough journey they’ve been on, and it emphasizes the need for vigilance when things don’t seem quite right. Sending strength to her family and community who fought tirelessly for Kristine’s memory and justice.
