I've been following Mariah Wilson's case for a while, and one thing that really haunts me is the fact that her kids were in the house when all of this happened. I can’t even begin to imagine the trauma they're facing. How do you even start to explain such a tragic loss to young children? Their mother was taken in such a brutal way, and they were just in the other room… it’s terrifying. I hope there are resources and support systems in place for them, not just now but for the long road ahead. No child should have to go through something like this. It's a small relief to see that justice is being served, but my heart goes out to her family, especially her kids, who have to grow up with this shadow hanging over them. Their mom deserved so much better.
