Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Jahmel Holmes and couldn't stop thinking about the impact his death has had on his family. I came across some comments from Jahmel's mother who described him as a loving son with big dreams. It's hard not to feel for her and the rest of his family as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.
It's also frustrating to see the legal delays in the case against Jamel Robinson. I can only imagine how agonizing it must be for Jahmel's family, waiting for justice while dealing with procedural hiccups in court. It seems like every new delay is just another blow to them.
I hope for their sake that the judicial process moves more swiftly in the coming months. Losing someone close in such a violent way is unthinkable, and the least we can do is offer our support and empathy to those mourning his loss. Let’s keep them in our thoughts and continue to raise our voices for justice in Jahmel's name.
Thanks for letting me share. Feel free to share any new insights or updates on the case if you have them.
Stay safe, everyone.
Hi all,
I've been following Jahmel Holmes' case and wanted to share some thoughts about how the community has been rallying for justice. It's truly inspiring to see people come together—whether it's through marches, memorials, or simply supporting each other during this difficult time. It seems that even in the midst of such a senseless tragedy, there’s a powerful sense of unity and determination not to let this happen to anyone else.
I recently read about local groups working on anti-violence initiatives, and it gives me hope that positive change can come from such terrible events. The community's efforts to address gun violence and push for stricter legal measures show how deeply this has affected everyone.
If anyone has more information about ongoing community support projects or how to get involved, please share. It’s important to keep the momentum going for Jahmel and to stand in solidarity with his loved ones. Stay strong, everyone.
Sending love and support to all of you in Rochester,

I’ve been following the Jahmel Holmes case closely, and it really brings to light the persistent issue of gun violence in our communities. It’s so frustrating to see yet another young life taken senselessly. Jahmel had a bright future ahead of him, and it’s evident that he was cherished by those who knew him. What's struck me recently is the role of public spaces in these tragic incidents.
How many more lives need to be lost before there's more security or preventative measures in place? From what I gather, the shooting happened in a busy area, which makes me wonder about bystander intervention or surveillance footage. Are there gaps in area coverage, or did people just freeze up? Understandably, it’s a scary and unexpected situation, but perhaps more public awareness and readiness could help deter these situations or assist in faster resolutions.
Let’s keep pushing for a resolution and remember Jahmel as more than just his tragic end. My thoughts are with his family and friends as they navigate this painful journey. Every bit of awareness helps, so let’s keep talking and advocating for stronger laws and safer communities.
