Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Shadina Smith Hall, and I just can't stop thinking about the courage it must have taken for her to confront Moussa Cisse with her fiancé. As a mother, Shadina clearly had an incredible strength and determination to protect herself and her family. It's truly devastating that what began as an effort to defend her dignity ended in such a tragic way. I read that the community really rallied around her family after the incident. It’s heartening to see how people come together during such dark times, but it also makes me wonder how we can better support victims of harassment and violence before tragedy strikes. Shadina deserved a long, happy life with her son and fiancé. I hope this case raises more awareness about the realities of harassment and makes people think twice before sweeping ‘minor’ incidents under the rug. Nobody should be afraid to leave their home because of predators like Cisse. Sending love to her family and hoping for some lessons that can help prevent something like this from happening again.
