I was looking into some of the details surrounding the tragic death of Agent Hunter Rizer Stotler and came across a point that caught my attention. The night he was killed, Stotler had chosen to stay back to pursue the investigation further instead of returning to the hotel with his colleagues, Jack and Parr. This makes me wonder about the unique risks solo agents faced during the Prohibition era. It's deeply unsettling to think about how vulnerable they were, especially when away from backup. We talk a lot about teamwork in law enforcement, but the reality was that, at times, these agents had to go it alone. His commitment to chasing down leads, even at personal risk, speaks volumes about his dedication. I can’t help but feel for his family and friends who must have known the dangers he faced every day. It’s a stark reminder of the personal sacrifices agents made during this turbulent time in history, often putting their lives on the line. My thoughts are with everyone who continues to honor his bravery.
