Friends, I've been following the Milian case and just wanted to talk about the involvement of William Jaminton Pavon-Mancock and his arrest. Does anyone else feel that the quick identification and capture of him and his accomplice, Jimmy Hernandez-Morales, were pivotal moments in this case? It feels like a small glimmer of justice in an otherwise deeply tragic situation.
I can't even begin to imagine the relief Carlos' family might have felt knowing that the suspects weren't out there roaming free, but it's just one step in a long process. It seems like sometimes the involvement across multiple jurisdictions can stall cases, so it's a bit of a relief to see things moving forward here, at least legally.
I'm also hopeful that this serves as a stark reminder for improved cooperation between communities and law enforcement. There's a lot more work ahead, but moments like these make you appreciate every person who steps up to provide vital info. Thoughts?
