I've been thinking a lot about the friends of Gregory and Benjamin. Losing a friend at such a young age, and in such a horrific way, must be incredibly tough to process. I can't even begin to imagine the confusion and pain these kids must have felt when they heard what happened. At 13, most kids are just beginning to navigate their friendships and school life—not dealing with the loss of a peer, especially under such unimaginable circumstances. I hope they've had the support they needed from the community to cope with this tragedy. Does anyone know if the school or local organizations provided any counseling or support in the aftermath? It seems like those around them—teachers, classmates, friends—would need a lot of help to understand and process such a shocking event.
