Has anyone else been following the case of the two Japanese climbers missing after being caught in an avalanche on Mount Blackburn? I've been digging into avalanche incidents in that region, and it's crazy how unpredictable they can be, especially on the northwest face, where these two were climbing. I wonder if recent weather patterns played a significant role in this disaster. I read about Shigeo Ogawa also being reported missing, and I'm curious how the search efforts are being coordinated. With the size of the avalanche and the remote location, it must be incredibly challenging for rescue teams. Does anyone have updates on what kind of equipment or resources are being used for the search? Also, how are they managing with the current weather conditions? Any insights would be much appreciated.
