Has anyone looked into the possibility that Olga might have wandered into a nearby area that wasn't thoroughly searched back in 1989? Rowland Heights has some rugged terrain and open spaces that could have been more accessible on foot than initially thought. I’ve read cases where similar situations have happened, and search areas sometimes need to be expanded. Especially with her dementia, she might have traveled further or in a different direction than expected. Curious if there are any local searches planned with modern technology like drones or updated ground-penetrating radar? Even after all these years, it feels like there might still be a chance to get some answers.
Has anyone else noticed the lack of discussion around Olga Severina McQuinn's pattern of behavior before she disappeared? I was looking through old articles and family accounts and it seems that she had moments of clarity despite her dementia. It got me thinking, could Olga have somehow wandered to a place she subconsciously felt was important or familiar? Maybe somewhere she thought of as safe? Places like homes where she lived as a child or areas she used to frequent in her younger years might hold some significance. I understand it's been so many years without any leads, but could there be destinations in Rowland Heights or nearby that fit this idea and haven't been thoroughly searched or considered? Maybe looking into her past haunts could unearth something previously overlooked. Anyone else think this is worth examining or know of similar cases where people were found this way?
Has anyone looked into the possibility of Olga McQuinn wandering into the nearby Puente Hills area when she went missing? I know she was easily disoriented due to her medical conditions, so perhaps she could've accidentally walked towards that direction. The hills are quite vast and rugged, maybe too treacherous for thorough searches back then, especially since it's been over 30 years. Given her small stature, she might have easily gotten lost there without being noticed by anyone. It might be worth revisiting this angle with modern technology or even organizing community search initiatives. What do others think?
