It's so hard to wrap my head around the tragic events that took place with the Siddique family. I've been thinking a lot about Farhad, and how he was just 19 years old, a student at the University of Maryland. He had his whole life ahead of him—college, friends, future plans—and that was all cut short so abruptly. I can’t imagine what his friends at the university must be going through right now, knowing someone they cared about was taken in such a cruel way. I hope his friends find some strength in each other during this incredibly difficult time. Their world must feel turned upside down. If anyone here knows more about how the campus community is coping, or if there are any memorials or vigils planned, please share. It's important to remember him not just for how he was taken, but for the life and joy he brought to those around him.
