Has anyone else looked into the weather conditions the day James and his wife were on the Togiak River? I'm curious if unexpected conditions could have played a role in what happened. Sometimes it just takes a sudden change in weather to catch people off guard, especially out in remote places like that. I haven’t seen any weather reports mentioned in the discussions so far. Just wondering if the currents or a sudden storm might have been factors. Anyone have insights or access to that kind of info?

I’ve been following the Togiak River case, and something that's been nagging at me is the timing of the search efforts. From what I gathered, the search began shortly after James and his wife were reported missing, but given the river's currents, could it be possible James was simply swept downstream farther than they anticipated? I'm no expert on rivers, but would love to hear from anyone who has knowledge about how far someone can travel in that kind of water. Also, do you think weather conditions at the time might’ve played a role in hindering the discovery? It’s so tragic that despite the intensive efforts, James hasn’t been found. What are others’ thoughts on the matter?
