Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Vincent "DJ Vicious V" Curtis and can't stop thinking about how this impacts the local music scene in Baltimore. It’s so hard to believe such a pillar in the DJ community was taken in such a senseless way. From all accounts, Curtis was a mentor and friend to so many up-and-coming DJs in the area. Seeing the outpouring of love at his memorial just shows how deeply he touched others' lives. Witness testimonies and video footage seem solid against DJ B Easy, but it’s tough knowing both the victim and suspect came from the same tight-knit community. Sending all my thoughts to Curtis’s family and everyone who knew him. Stay strong, Baltimore.

Did anyone else see the vigil they held for Vincent Curtis? I watched some clips online and it was so moving to see the turnout. The community clearly loved and respected him deeply. Those who knew him say he was always one to mentor young talent and pushed Baltimore's music scene to new heights. It's just so hard to process such a senseless loss. How do you go from making music together to something so tragic? My heart really goes out to his friends and family who now have this huge void in their lives. I hope they find strength and support from each other and the community as they navigate this difficult time. If anything new comes up in the case, let's make sure to keep sharing information so we can honor Vicious V by seeking the justice he deserves.
