Hey everyone,
It's just so tough to think about how such a simple, everyday action like grabbing milk and cookies could end in tragedy. I keep thinking about how Alex was just trying to get home after a long day at work, like so many of us do. The randomness of it all just makes it feel even more unsettling.
I actually read somewhere that Alex was a big part of his community, working at Rowhouse Grille and even dedicating time to fundraising for important causes like The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. It's clear he was a kind and giving person who made a difference in the lives of those around him. The plaque in Latrobe Park is such a touching tribute—it serves as a reminder not just of his tragic loss but of the positive impact he had on so many.
I can only hope that the community continues to rally around his family and friends, offering support and keeping his memory alive. Anyone here have more info on other commemorations planned for Alex or how we might contribute to his causes?
