I can't stop thinking about the timing of Joshua's meeting with Gregory Jones. It's chilling to realize that Joshua had suggested Greg send someone else to deliver the money, but Greg insisted on doing it himself. This detail has really stuck with me. Was it a power move, or was it premeditated from the get-go? It seems so calculated and deliberate, especially given the execution-style manner of the killings. My heart goes out to Joshua's family and Ashley's too; I can’t even imagine the trauma they've had to endure. It's horrifying to see how one moment of possibly trusting the wrong person can lead to such a tragic outcome. Those poor families will likely always have a piece of them missing. Thoughts?
I came across an interesting point about the cell phone tower data that was used during the trial. It’s incredible how technology played such a crucial role in pinning Gregory Jones to the scene. I can’t imagine what it must have been like for the families, seeing those details unfold in court and knowing how the very devices we use every day could seal someone's fate. This case is just such a sad reminder of how deep the roots of drug-related violence can go. My heart truly goes out to the families of Joshua and Ashley. They’ve been through so much.
