Has anyone else looked into the backgrounds of Jeremiah, Deonte, and their friend group? I'm curious about how their relationships might have influenced what happened that night. It's just really sad to think about how trust and friendships can get so complicated and dangerous, especially when drugs are involved. Maybe there were warning signs leading up to this that no one noticed or that weren't taken seriously because everyone thought it was just the effects of drug use. It's like a reminder that we're all responsible, in a way, for noticing changes in our friends and speaking up if something feels off. Thinking of Jeremiah's family as they navigate this heartbreaking situation—I can’t even begin to imagine what they’re going through. Does anyone know if there have been any community responses or initiatives in his memory to address these issues?

Has anyone else been thinking about the 911 call made from the Comfort Inn? My heart goes out to the first responders who had to walk into that room not knowing what kind of situation they were facing. It's so saddening to imagine what they must have felt finding Jeremiah in that state. And for Jeremiah’s family to receive the news this way... it’s just unimaginable. I read that Griffin was really paranoid and both men were trying to calm him down before things escalated. It makes you wonder if the call was made in a desperate attempt to get help before it was too late. Such an awful situation for everyone involved. Keeps me hoping there's more awareness about the impact drugs can have, not just on users but everyone around them.
