I've been reflecting a lot on David Gilliam's case, and something that keeps crossing my mind is the location where he was found. The 700 block of Belle Terre Avenue isn't exactly known for having a high crime rate, as far as I understand. This makes me wonder even more about why David was targeted there. Was it a random spot, or did it hold some significance that we’re missing? It’s just so unsettling to think that someone can be attacked so brutally in a place where they might have felt safe. My heart goes out to David’s family and friends who must be grappling with so many questions and so few answers. I hope the community can come together to uncover anything that might bring justice to his memory. If anyone knows more about that area or heard anything around that time, it could really help move this investigation forward.

I've been following David Gilliam's case closely and something that's been bothering me is the lack of any CCTV footage or eye-witness accounts from that area. Belle Terre Avenue isn't exactly a deserted place, and with it being a residential neighborhood, you'd think there might be at least some surveillance cameras around. It's hard to believe that no one saw or heard anything, especially since it happened early in the morning when people are usually starting their day. I know the BPD is doing everything they can, but I can't help but wonder if there's something that could still be out there, a missing link or a piece of evidence that hasn't surfaced yet. It just feels like someone, somewhere, might have a crucial bit of information without realizing its importance. If you were in or around the area and heard or saw something unusual that day, please reach out to the authorities. Sometimes even the smallest detail can help. David's family and friends deserve answers. They need closure for this senseless tragedy and I hope that by keeping the conversation going, we can aid in finding justice for David.
