Does anyone else find it strange that Louis's car and cellphone were left behind? I mean, if he really intended to head to North Dakota, wouldn't you at least need your vehicle? And leaving his cellphone seems off too—especially since we all rely so much on them these days. It just doesn’t sit right with me, considering his history of severe depression. Was there something happening at home that we aren't aware of? The fact that his wife didn’t report him missing right away raises even more questions. Maybe pressures we aren’t privy to were pushing him. I wonder if there’s more to the story with that anonymous letter and why it took so long for the authorities to get involved. Thoughts?
I find it really puzzling that Louis's wife didn't report him missing right away. Given that he left behind things like his car and cellphone, which are pretty essential for traveling, wouldn't that immediately raise red flags? It's almost as if she assumed he'd be gone for a long time or knew something about his plans that the rest of us don't. Maybe she thought he went off the grid voluntarily, but even then, not checking in at all is worrying. And the anonymous tip—who do you think sent that? It makes me wonder if someone close knows more than they're letting on. I hope the investigators take another look at everyone's statements from those early days.
