Has anyone else looked into the weather conditions on the day Edward Steinert went missing? I wonder if the extreme heat in that area could have played a role in his disorientation or disappearance. June in Niland can be brutal, with temps easily hitting triple digits. If he was already lost and possibly dehydrated, it could've made things worse. Also, how reliable is cell phone service out there? It seems like his call dropping might have been due to poor reception. Could that area be a known dead zone? It's so frustrating thinking about how close he might have been to getting help.

I've been following Edward Dennis Steinert's case for a while now, and one thing that really stands out to me is the fact that he was legally blind in his right eye. I can't help but wonder if his visual impairment played a role in his disorientation and inability to be located during the search efforts. Navigating those dirt roads near Niland could be challenging for anyone, let alone someone with limited vision. Also, does anyone know if Edward had a cell phone or GPS with him? It's curious that his 911 call was abruptly cut off – could it have been a lack of reception in that area, or maybe a dead phone battery? I’ve been trying to find out more about the terrain there and whether those factors might have been an issue. If anyone has more details on the area around Niland or insights into how a visual impairment might have affected his actions that day, I'm eager to hear your thoughts. This one just gets more confusing the more I think about it.
