I keep thinking about how tough this must be for Jessie's kids. Losing their dad in such a shocking manner, and at the hands of their uncle no less, must be unimaginably difficult. Jessie was described as a devoted father, and it's clear he loved his children deeply. I feel for them so much as they navigate their lives without him. This case brings up so many complicated emotions, especially when you consider the jury's self-defense finding. It's just so sad that things spiraled out of control in such a tragic way. Sending all my thoughts to Jessie's family as they continue to deal with the aftermath of this situation.
