Has anyone else come across rumors or any solid info about Keith potentially being picked up hitchhiking? I remember reading a stray comment on another forum but can't seem to find it now. It does make you wonder, though—could someone have offered him a ride away from the accident scene? There’s just something that doesn't add up about him vanishing without a trace like that. With everything that’s been done to locate him, it’s surprising not even a shred of evidence has turned up. Maybe someone out there saw something but didn’t realize its significance at the time. Just hoping someone remembers and comes forward.
I've been following Keith Roberson's case for a while now, and something that's puzzled me is the location where he went missing. Sonora and the surrounding area have some pretty rugged terrain, and it makes me wonder about the challenges search teams faced. Does anyone have insights into what kind of landscape the volunteers and search teams were dealing with at the time? It might help paint a picture of why finding any trace of him has been so difficult. Maybe someone from that region could share some details about the environment around mile marker 415 on I-10? Those areas can be so unforgiving, and it's just baffling how he vanished without a trace.
