I can't stop thinking about the nickname "Noodles" when reading about Norman Thompson's case. It's these little human details that really hit home, reminding us that behind every crime statistic is a real person with a life and loved ones. It sounds like he was really cherished by his friends and family. I hope that remembering him in this personal way helps keep his spirit alive while we all still search for justice for him. It's been years, and I can only imagine how hard it is for his family with the case still unsolved. Has there been any progress on whether new leads have come up? It’s so important these cases don’t go cold. My heart goes out to all those who knew him.
Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the vigil that Norman "Noodles" Thompson’s family and friends held after his tragic murder in 2009. It's deeply moving how they came together to honor his life at the Chapel of Peace. The nickname "Noodles" speaks volumes about the kind of person he was—someone who was likely loved and cherished by those who knew him. It's so difficult to imagine the pain his family must have felt losing him under such violent circumstances.
Living in Indianapolis during that time, I remember how the city was gripped by fear over the rising homicide rates. It must have been such a struggle not just for the families who lost loved ones, but also for the police who were working tirelessly to solve these cases with limited success. I often wonder how we, as a community, could have stepped up to support each other more back then.
For those who attended the vigil, what kind of stories did people share about Norman? Hearing personal memories might help us understand the impact he had on those around him. Sending love to his family and hoping they’ve found some peace over the years.
