Been thinking a lot about how the community reacted in the aftermath of Alex and Brianna's tragic deaths. It's haunting to imagine such a horrific event in a tight-knit area like Willard. I heard so many stories about local neighbors rallying around Alex’s daughter after she was found that day. It's clear she’s been through an unimaginably traumatic event, and knowing that she's getting support from those around her is at least one glimmer of hope in this awfulness. From setting up vigils to organizing fundraisers, the compassion showed by the people in Willard truly speaks volumes. It’s comforting to know that, amidst the darkness, there were countless people willing to extend a helping hand and some semblance of normalcy and care for Alex’s little girl. This strong sense of community solidarity is something I believe will keep helping her heal as she grows up. My thoughts are with her and both families as they work through these painful times.

Visited the crime scene area last week, and it's so eerie to be standing where such a horrific event took place. My heart goes out to Alex and Brianna's families. It’s hard to fathom the loss their loved ones are enduring. I noticed some flowers and signs left by the community on the porch and it brought a sense of the deep support still surrounding them. One aspect I find perplexing is how the other accomplices, Matthew and Therin Plumb, seemed to be involved and got somewhat lighter sentences. Did they have any prior connection to Theresa or Duncan, or were they just caught up in this through association? It just seems chilling that so many people could be capable of such a cold plan. Anyone have more insights on the backgrounds of those two or why they participated? It's unsettling to think about how a custody battle could escalate to this. All we can do is hope Alex’s daughter finds peace and support after losing her father in such an indescribably awful way.
