I've been following the tragic case of Laurie Dothage, and I can't help but wonder about the mental health aspect surrounding such situations. It's unfathomable to think about what might have been going through Scott Dothage's mind leading up to this horrible act. I'm not trying to downplay what happened at all—Laurie's loss is unimaginable and her loved ones surely continue to suffer. It's just so important for us all to shed light on mental health and perhaps find ways to recognize the signs early on, even in those we think we know so well. My deepest sympathies go out to both families, as they navigate the grief and confusion left in the aftermath.
