It's been over a decade since Destiny Pittman's tragic death, and my heart truly goes out to her family and friends. I can't imagine the pain they've endured over these years. I've been thinking about the bravery of her roommate who was present during the incident. It must have been terrifying to witness such a violent act and to look after Destiny’s children in the immediate aftermath. Witnesses often hold crucial pieces of the puzzle in cases like these, and it's unfortunate that this brutal crime is still unsolved despite the many years that have passed. It's a reminder of how important community involvement is. If anyone out there, even after all this time, remembers something unusual or significant from that day or even from the days leading up to February 7, 2013, it could be invaluable to the investigation. Let's keep sharing and spreading awareness so Destiny's family can find peace.
