William Schmitt

Missing

William Earl Schmitt, 38 years old, was last seen on May 4, 1995, in Sonora, California. Schmitt left his home around 8:30 a.m. to go fishing at New Melones Lake. He was expected to return by 1:30 p.m. but never arrived home. Later that afternoon, at around 4:00 p.m., his boat was found drifting under the Parrott's Ferry Bridge on the lake, empty and still running.
