Hester Lee Chandler, age 60, was last seen on September 13, 1974, in Modesto, California, after withdrawing nearly $9,000 from her bank. Following her disappearance, her car was found parked outside her home, containing cardboard boxes of her clothing. Inside the house, investigators found her credit cards and identification, with some of the cards partially burned. Her house keys were left on the living room floor, and she has not been heard from since.
