Wilburn Leeroy Thompson, aged 54, was last seen on March 21, 2000, during a tragic boating incident in Suisun Bay, Solano County, California. He and his wife, Barbara, were aboard their wooden boat, the *Robby Lyn*, when it caught fire at around 2:00 a.m. near Ryer Island. Along with six other passengers, they jumped into the water to escape the flames. Five of the individuals were rescued, but Wilburn, Barbara, and a 15-year-old boy named Keith Washington were not immediately found.
