According to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs), she was last seen leaving her mother-in-law’s home. At the time, she reportedly had no permanent residence and was living "here to there," suggesting a transient lifestyle.
Tirshantha was described as a Black/African American female, approximately 5'3" tall, weighing around 125 pounds, with brown hair. Her case was entered into the NamUs database under case number MP73910.
Prior to her disappearance, Tirshantha had legal issues. In November 2013, she was convicted of indecency with a child by contact, involving a 14-year-old male victim. She received a five-year sentence, which was discharged from probation/community supervision. As a result, she was required to register as a sex offender for life.
