In the early hours of August 19, 1995, 22-year-old Antonio Rojas Ortega was last seen at his residence near 19th Street and Van Buren Street in Phoenix, Arizona. What began as an ordinary night ended in a mystery that has persisted for nearly three decades. Despite extensive efforts by law enforcement and the community, Antonio's whereabouts remain unknown, leaving his family and friends in a state of perpetual uncertainty.
Born on May 10, 1973, in Mexico, Antonio was a Hispanic male with black hair and brown eyes. Standing between 5'10" and 5'11" and weighing approximately 180 to 190 pounds, he was known to have a scar on his right arm, a mole on his left cheek, a pierced left ear, and a distinctive tattoo of three dots between his left thumb and index finger. He had also previously fractured his right ankle. At the time of his disappearance, Antonio was known to consume alcohol and may have used the last name Rojas.
Following Antonio's disappearance, the Phoenix Police Department initiated an investigation. Detective Jared D'Addabbo has been listed as the contact person for the case. Despite the passage of time, the case remains open, with authorities continuing to seek information that could lead to a resolution. The case has been registered with the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System under case number 3922 and with the National Crime Information Center under case number M-343864871.
Over the years, various organizations and websites have worked to keep Antonio's case in the public eye. The Charley Project, a database dedicated to missing person cases, features a profile on Antonio, providing details about his disappearance and physical characteristics. The Doe Network, an international volunteer organization devoted to assisting in cold cases, also includes Antonio's case in its listings. These platforms aim to generate leads by disseminating information to a broader audience. ...Read More
