In the early hours of August 19, 1995, 22-year-old Antonio Rojas Ortega was last seen at his residence near 19th Street and Van Buren Street in Phoenix, Arizona. Born on May 10, 1973, in Mexico, Antonio was a Hispanic male with black hair and brown eyes. Standing between 5'10" and 5'11" and weighing approximately 180 to 190 pounds, he was known to have a scar on his right arm, a mole on his left cheek, a pierced left ear, and a distinctive tattoo of three dots between his left thumb and index finger. He had also previously fractured his right ankle. At the time of his disappearance, Antonio was known to consume alcohol and may have used the last name Rojas.
