On May 5, 2025, 32-year-old Jessica Paige Kemp, known to friends and family as Paige, embarked on a solo camping trip in the Dave Donaldson Wildlife Management Area near Lake Ashbaugh, west of Delaplaine, Arkansas. This expansive 25,000-acre area, characterized by its dense forests and remote campsites, was a familiar retreat for Jessica, who often sought solace in nature. Originally from Munford, Tennessee, she had settled in Paragould, Arkansas, and was known for her adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors.
Jessica's camping trip took a troubling turn when her vehicle, cell phone, and personal belongings were discovered abandoned at her campsite by Greene County Sheriff's Deputies. Her mother noted that the last known read message on Jessica's phone was on May 5, and subsequent messages remained unopened. This sudden silence was uncharacteristic, prompting immediate concern. Jessica was officially reported missing on May 14, 2025, after family and friends were unable to contact her.
In response to Jessica's disappearance, extensive search operations were launched. Search teams utilized boats, drones, and ground personnel to comb the vast wildlife area. Despite these efforts, no additional clues were uncovered. A possible sighting of Jessica between Lake Charles and Lynn on May 15 provided a glimmer of hope, but it remained unconfirmed. The lack of activity on her debit card since her disappearance further deepened the mystery.
Jessica's family, particularly her mother Sandra Kemp, has been at the forefront of the search efforts. They organized volunteer search parties and distributed flyers across Northeast Arkansas, Missouri, and Tennessee. A Facebook page titled "Help Us Find Jessica Paige Kemp" was created to coordinate efforts and share updates. Additionally, a GoFundMe campaign was launched to raise funds for search operations and to offer a reward for information leading to Jessica's whereabouts. Sandra Kemp expressed the family's desperation and hope for Jessica's safe return....Read More
