On the evening of May 29, 2025, 14-year-old Dayana Mendoza Bonilla left her home in Conroe, Texas, under circumstances that remain unclear. Her family was unaware of her departure and had no information about her intended destination or attire at the time. The following morning, they discovered her absence and reported her missing to the Conroe Police Department on June 2, 2025.

Despite this digital trace, there have been no confirmed sightings of Dayana since that time, and her phone has not been recovered.
Dayana's case was officially added to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System on June 3, 2025. However, despite being listed in both state and federal databases, there has been no issuance of an Amber Alert, no press releases, and no public statements from the Conroe Police Department regarding her disappearance.
In the absence of official public alerts, community members and online advocates have taken to social media platforms to raise awareness about Dayana's disappearance.
