A Mother and Son Disappear Without a Trace
On September 22, 2017, Georgia Patricia Brown, a 48-year-old social worker, and her 8-year-old son, Karam Govens Jr., vanished after leaving her mother's home in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Georgia had been staying there due to marital issues. That night, she received a phone call that left her visibly distressed and frightened. She departed around 12:30 a.m. in her silver 2003 Toyota Camry, Florida license plate ENS-Q75, intending to take Karam to school in Parkland. Neither has been seen since.
A Disturbing Phone Call and Sudden Departure
According to Georgia's mother, the phone call she received that night caused her to become frantic and hurried.
