A Quiet Evening Turns Mysterious

On the evening of January 13, 1997, Thomas Gregory Demyon departed his townhouse on Gurteen Court in Cockeysville, Maryland, around 6:15 p.m. He was responding to a page from his lawyer and intended to use a pay phone at a nearby Days Inn, as his home phone had been disconnected. Demyon left a message at his lawyer's office but never returned home and has not been heard from since.

The Abandoned Vehicle

Over a month later, on February 20, 1997, Demyon's dark blue 1989 Pontiac Bonneville was discovered abandoned in the 1800 block of North Calvert Street in Baltimore City. The vehicle showed no signs of foul play, and no clues to Demyon's whereabouts were found at the scene.

At the time of his disappearance, Demyon was the vice president of Tomkar Corp., a company founded by his late father.
