On the evening of December 5, 1975, the quiet community of Manor Township in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, was shaken by a horrifying discovery. Lindy Sue Biechler, a 19-year-old newlywed, was found brutally murdered in her apartment by her aunt and uncle. She had been stabbed 19 times in the neck, chest, abdomen, and back. The scene was gruesome, with a knife protruding from her neck, its handle wrapped in a tea towel. Evidence suggested a violent struggle had taken place, both inside and outside the residence.
