On February 19, 2005, the city of Kokomo, Indiana, was forever changed by a devastating event that claimed the lives of a young family. Amy Parrish, 25, her sons Dacota Rasmussen, 4, Caleb Parrish, 2, and stepson Casey Parrish, 11, perished in a house fire at their residence on 811 South Bell Street. The fire, later determined to be arson, has left a lingering void in the community, with justice still unmet.
