A Quiet Evening Turns Into a Lifelong Search

On the evening of January 31, 2014, 70-year-old Chang Ho Han left his condominium on Waimanu Street in Honolulu's Ala Moana neighborhood around 6:50 p.m. It was a familiar area for Han, who had called Hawaii home for two decades. However, that evening marked the beginning of a mystery that remains unsolved over a decade later. Despite extensive search efforts and community involvement, Han has not been seen or heard from since that night.

A Man of Routine and Resilience

Originally from Korea, Han had built a life in Honolulu, working as a limousine driver before retiring. He was known to frequent the Ala Moana and Waikiki areas, often seen wearing a red jacket, dark blue shirt with thin red stripes, dark-colored pants, black shoes, a white baseball cap, a gold cross necklace, and a black watch with a leather band. Standing at 5'5" and weighing 155 pounds, Han walked with a slight hunch and was missing a nail on his left middle finger.
