Discovery of a Young Life Cut Short
On the evening of April 16, 2018, the Louisville Metro Police Department responded to a distressing scene in the Germantown neighborhood. At approximately 8 p.m., officers arrived at a garage located in the 1000 block of Charles Street, where they discovered the lifeless body of 22-year-old Sienna Summers-Miller. She had sustained fatal gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Promising Future Interrupted
Sienna was a 2014 graduate of duPont Manual High School, where she was an active and beloved member of the student body. Her former journalism and communications teacher, Liz Palmer, remembered her fondly: "Everyone liked her. She was sweet. She was friendly. She's going to be missed."
