A Tragic Night in Northwest D.C.
On Tuesday, August 24, 2004, at approximately 1:30 am, the tranquility of the 800 block of Ingraham Street NW in Washington, D.C., was shattered by the sound of gunfire. Marlon Turner, a resident of the area, was found shot and killed at the scene. Despite the prompt response of law enforcement, the circumstances surrounding his death remain a mystery to this day.
The Immediate Aftermath
In the days following the murder, the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) launched an intensive investigation. Detectives canvassed the neighborhood, conducted interviews, and collected forensic evidence in an effort to piece together the events leading up to Turner's death.
