On the evening of October 17, 1979, 14-year-old Lisa Monique Lambert left her family's residence in the 1900 block of East 29th Street in Baltimore, Maryland, with the intention of attending a dance class at a local church. Dressed in blue jeans, black tights, a maroon shirt, a blue quilted vest, and brown shoes, Lisa departed her home, never to return.
In the days following her disappearance, Lisa's brother reported seeing her entering a Lincoln Mark 7 automobile. This sighting raised numerous questions: Who was the driver? Did Lisa willingly get into the vehicle? Unfortunately, these questions remain unanswered, and Lisa has not been seen since.
Lisa's parents promptly reported her missing to the Baltimore Police Department. Law enforcement conducted searches, interviewed friends and family, and distributed flyers throughout the community. Despite these efforts, no substantial leads emerged, leaving investigators and loved ones without answers.
Several theories have been proposed regarding Lisa's disappearance. Some speculated that she ran away, but her family and friends found this unlikely, as she had no history of such behavior. Others feared she may have been abducted, possibly by someone she knew, given the sighting of her entering a vehicle.
